All the World’s a Shoe? Well, Here at Shoe Boxers it is.

Several celebs were strutting their stuff “red carpet-style” before the Grammy’s got under way. And some were waiting to strut it on stage later in the show. Some wore expensive dresses, others wore flashy and some even wore barely anything. Here is the latest on the Grammy’s glamour.

Alicia Keys started the Grammy’s out with a preformance with the ledgendary late Frank Sinatra, but before that she was walking the red carpet in a navy satin gown from Armani Prive Couture. She added some color pop to the fashionable number with a hot pink clutch that even was matched to her lipstick. She alicia-keys2.jpgpreformed later on in the show, after winning a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, with John Mayer, her song “No One” in a glittering Alberta Ferretti tunic over black leggings.

Carrie Underwood was seen on the red carpet in a floral Zuhair Murad design with beaded detailing on the waist. The shoes she wore were of matching color-cordination with her dress and were hidden most of the time by her long-flowing dress of choice. She was later in over-carrir-underwood.jpgthe-knee boots and leather-trimmed hot-pants jumper during a performance of “Before He Cheats” on stage. At the Grammy’s after-party she sported a white satin flowing multi-level skirted dress with a black halter attached with bow. She sported a watch in the same color scheme and her diamond earrings sparkled just like her personality did.

prince.jpgPrince was then on stage with a red suited high-collar sport jacket and white cuff dress shirt under to introduce the next set of artists and their talent. Which came Rihanna dancing with a feather dress and cheetah-print Totes® umbrellas. And black laced-up and shiney combat boots rhianna1.jpgduring her number. Before she was spoted on the red carpet walking in a blue feather-trimmed dress from pal Zac Posen’s Spring 2008 collection. She didn’t leave the Grammy’s empty handed though, she snagged the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, for her song “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z.

tom-hanks.jpgTom Hanks sported a black classy suit and grey tie, along with black slip on dress shoes, when he annouced The Band receiving their “Lifetime Achievement Award”. After his annoucement of The Band’s award came The Beatles turn to receive theirs and Cirque du Soleil preformed to many of their choice songs.

Cindi Lauper and Miley Ray Cyrus came out to present Amy Winehouse with her Grammy for Best New Artist.

Amy Winehouse walked away from the Grammy’s with a total of five Grammy’s before the night was over.

Beyoncé shook her groove thang “to the left to the left” with Tina Turner, while wearing a silver spaghetti-strap dress and Tina Turner wearing the same shade of shine with leggings and a mirror colored halter top with straps.
