The Jessica Simpson Blue Slingback Platform Sandal features a high heel with a wood grain pattern on the heel and also on bottom edge of the flat part of the toe and front foot area of the heel. It has a see blue colors upper with an open toe and ankle strap that goes around the ankle of the foot and a silver buckle that features adjustable size holes to fit to your foot size. The insole has the Jessica Simpson Signature as well. These heels come in a variety of sizes and Dillard’s is sure to have a size to fit your need.

The Jessica Simpson Miles cork wedge sandal features the wedge heel to the shoe with the cork covering over the entire part of the wedge itself. The Jessica Simpson logo on the inner sole and the cork pattern running along the side of the shoe to the tip of the shoe as well. The shoe features a unique strap that goes over the top of the foot and the same material in one strap runs the length of the shoe and into the ankle. Around the ankle and along the foot on the opposite side of the shoe with elastic to help keep the shoe on your foot. I first saw J. Reneé Butterfly-Print Fabric Flats on the Home Shopping Network when I was laying in bed watching TV one night. I was in a mad hunt to find something or a shoe brand to post on Shoe Boxers and just by chance the print flats flashed across the screen. As I laid there watching this, all the while my husband grumbling for me to switch the channel, it got me to thinking. Print flats have gone out of style in a way. Only people that are seen in print flats anymore are woman considered to be “stuck in the 80s”. So I did some research to find out more about why print flats have become more scarce within a classy woman’s shoe collection and this is what I found.

It’s not that they have disappeared completely, even the Jessica Simpson Collection has their own style of print flats, it’s the fact that more and more woman, since the 80s have downsized their wardrobe collection and this means even their shoes took a hit. So if you are in the market to add to your ever growing shoe collection, consider adding some print flats to that collection. There are some super cute styles under some super star names anymore.

I have to hand it to Jessica Simpson’s shoe folks. They have done an excellent job of interpreting trends and giving them a great price point. Not too cheap — not your Payless variety shoes, but not too expensive either. Her platforms were a huge hit last year. And now, she has interpreted that cone heel that Marc Jacobs has done such a beautiful job on.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an investment shoe, just compare the quality of workmanship on a pair of Marc Jacobs and on Jessica Simpson’s.
