Dr. Martens Shoes

Have you Seen What’s New with Dr. Martens Shoes?

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

boot11.jpgDr. Martens first came onto the public foot scene around the time I was in high school. I remember them about the same as I remember Guess jeans. Everyone, who was anyone was wearing them. And they came in cool shapes and colors and even cool accessories were part of the coolness of the shoe. Well, times have changed and with change comes change in personality, as well as changes in people’s preference and style. So Dr. Martens had to change their styles, but they still are the great shoes from my high school days and you don’t have to be “super cool” to wear them. All you have to be is a Dr. Martens fan. Here are some of the great styles that Dr. Martens has on the market now.

• Men’s:

Dread Bram 3-eye Flame Shoe uses recognizable DM smooth leather to showcase the aggressive sidewall and toe bumper. The EVA sock liner adds enhanced comfort. (In sizes 6-13)

The Lenny 8 Eye Shoe epitomizes “Athleisure” by offering a low profile sole unit mixed with lightweight materials and DM branding. (In sizes 6-13)

The Flint Enzo Cross Over Slide is contemporary and simple in its styling, however the UTO leather gives it a rugged, durable appearance. (In sizes 6-13)

• Women’s

The Electric Courtney collection focuses on urban fashion, edgy styling, strong lasts, distinctive outsoles and vibrant new graphic stories. (In sizes 3-9)

The Athena collection offers a boho-chic look with a medium height wedge, suede/leather foot beds and rich, milled leathers to offer a premium handcrafted product. (In sizes 3-9)

The Cissie Lace-to-Toe Shoe is instantly recognizable as a DM’s, benefiting from the traditional DM PVC outsole, Grizzly Leather and signature sidewall stitch. (In sizes 3-9)

• Kid’s:

boot2.jpg1. 5-eye boot has a lot of Dr. Martens enthusiasts wishing they were young enough to wear it with its classic stitch detailing and the AirWair heel loop. (In sizes 6-12 in kids sizes)

2. Lucas Kids Strap Chukka Boot is a little sleeker than its laced cousin, the Kids Strap Chukka Boot adds some independence to the boy’s fashion scene. A beefy single strap keeps these boots fastened. (In sizes 6-13 in kids sizes)

3. Youth Jez 5 Eye Buttseam Shoe Classic DM’s taken down to kids sizes. This classic shoe has been around in adult sizes since the beginning, now it’s available in a child’s size to match yours. (In sizes 6-13 in kids sizes)
