Not literally, but ever shoe posted here has been manufactured from post consumer recycled material in one way or another. Check them out below.

1. Simple’s Satire low-top Sneakers ($55): The laces of this shoe are made from recycled plastic bottles, and the soles are from old car ties.

2. The Retire Slip-ons ($65): This shoe used hemp and organic cotton fabrics plus post consumer paper foot forms.

3. Duna-from El Naturalista ($170): These dressy shoes have a shock-absorbing repurposed rubber heel.

4. Nasca ($160): Easy-walking shoe is made from natural rubber; once you have worn them out to the point of un-wearing, they will degrade faster than a synthetic shoe in the landfills.

5. Teva’s Leagan Canvas lace-ups ($65): These shoes are made with 5o% post consumer recycled rubber soles with a canvas lining made with recycled plastic bottles. Wear them as often as you need and they will mold to your foot with wearing.

6. Eastia slip-ons ($55): This shoe also is made with 50 percent post consumer recycled rubber with the lining of canvas being made as well from recycled plastic bottles.

7. Keen’s Sienna ballerina flats ($75): The workers manufacturing these shoes that are waterproof, rubber-and-cork-soled get a fair wage with the making of these shoes that are all natural in texture, style and manufacturing quality.

8. Keen’s Marry Janes ($75): The shoes are hand stitched to reduce the use of toxic adhesives on the shoe itself, they are also Fair Trade shoes so you feel great buying them and even greater wearing them because of this quality.

9. Good Earth Shoes ($89-$145): Shoes that are good for your feet because of comfort and shoes good for the earth because of materials and some from post consumer waste materials. You can’t go wrong with Earth Shoes.

10. 911Gears Shoes ($50-$140): From steel-toe to slip-ons with styles to meet anyone’s fashion. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, these shoes are made from all-natural materials straight from the earth to your feet.
