Shoes for the Man with Medium Arch Feet

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

falling-arch.gifNORMAL (MEDIUM) ARCH: Third from the left. If you see about half of your arch, you have the most common foot type and are likely a normal pronator. Contary to popular belief, pronation is a good thing. When the arch collapses and the ankle rolls inward, this “pronation” absorbs shock. As a normal pronator, you can wear just about any shoe, but may be best suited to a stability show that provides moderate arch support (or medial stability). Lightweight runners or walkers with normal arches may prefer neutral-cushioned shoes without any added support, or even a preformance-training shoe that offers some support but less heft for a faster feel.

Asics has a great line of athletic shoes for the medium arched foot man. From ones with gel in the insole to ones that offer great stability for your feet. Here are a few of the best ones.

asics-shoe1.jpg
Asics® Gel-Kayano® 13: The GEL-Kayano® 13 continues to offer the ultimate blend of support and cushioning that the series is known for. All the fit and comfort features return as well, with the added benefit of new high tech upper materials and an expanded GEL® Cushioning System.
