Clickety Clackety Heels — Pet Peeve
I was walking behind a woman on my way to work the other day, and I wanted to trip her. Her shoes were doing that metal on cement thing. You know when the rubber piece that covers the heel comes off and needs replacing? Well, it was making this horrible sound on the ground. Reminiscent of scratching fingernails across a chalkboard. That is a number one pet peeve for me when it comes to shoes. If you take them to the shop, they cost maybe five bucks to replace. Then your shoes look better and you don’t irritate shoe freaks like me that happen to be walking behind you on the street.
If you buy better shoes, as in expensive shoes, READ more than Payless Shoe Source, they will even give you extra little rubber replacement things for your heels. And nice flannel bags for your shoes. I suppose that’s the least they could do when you have offered up your first born in exchange for pricey shoes.
If anyone can tell me what those things are called, you win some thing. I have to think of something. Hmmm, you will win my utmost admiration and respect for having such useless knowledge as what that rubber heel piece is called.
I have another pet peeve with shoes. It has to do with scuffed shoes. Previously wrote about men who wear scuffed shoes. Well, it applies to women too. Just shine them up and take care of your investment.
More pet peeves to come.

This drives me nuts too!! The sound is horrible, and I can just HEAR more damage being done to those poor defenseless shoes!
