Long Live Silver and Black
I suited up for game day yesterday, and I think it made all the difference for my team. We were 0-5 going into our game yesterday. For all my raves over stilettos and pumps, the sneaker does have its place. Not just when I walk from to my office, but on the ever-important game day. My game day uniform is my “Real Women Wear Black t-shirt and my silver and black Fila sneakers. Haven’t worn the Fila’s all season, but I did yesterday, and my loser team had a win. So something has to be said for those sneakers. By the way, I’m not superstitious at all. I’m looking for a new pair of silver and black sneakers for this season though. And it’s hard. Raider fans, if by some weird chance you read this, send me a link to a hot silver and black sneaker. I did find one at Puma, that looks more like a very stylish walking shoe.
That may very well be my winning shoe for next week.

I like how shoes make all the difference. I thought I had already commented on your blog, as I used to be quite the shoe nut (alas, damn budget). Maybe then you would have realized I was a woman. Or just thought I was a gay gentleman catching up on the latest shoe news…BTW, there was a link to my friend’s website, which has contact info.

Hi Farley
I thought I’d outgrow my shoe obsession, but it’s gotten worse. I’ve even indoctrinated by oldest daughter into the world of shoe fanaticism. i think we exchange comments in the introduce yourself forum.

Tracey,
On you’re silve n black attire. Maybe, it did make all the difference in the world; lord knows they need all the help they can get. Your idea to break out the filas should be worn for the rest of the season. Thx

This reminds me of my having thing for sneakers-on-the-rack. It’s just that they’ll always remain kept. My big feet never looked good in sports shoes.

Thanks for stopping by!Oh, you like to keep your shoes in great condition I see. You should check out my post a few days ago about shoe organization. I mention racks, but i suppose because I’m sooooo darn picky, they aren’t my favorite.

[...] I’m updating this post because as soon as I published it, guess what came in my email? Another shoe HINT from none other than that 15 year old sneaker loving girl. Looks like adidas and the NBA have joined forces. Sweet. Now if they could just do something for the Raiders… [...]
