ohhhh, those platform pumps

Hey fellow shoe hounds.  This is my very fist post on my blog and I’m oh so excited to be able to talk about non other than shoes.  Given the importance of this subject, I only felt it fair to devote this space to the shoe of the season – the platform pump.  Oh, do I ever love these shoes.  They combine the elements of the disco era (which I fortunately survived), elegant conservatism, and funky fresh design.  How can you go wrong??  Well, it’s easy for a woman like me.  I have Jimmy Choo taste on Payless budget.  So I’m looking at these Jessica Simpson knockoffs.  Under a hundred bucks at Nordstrom.  I think that’s a deal considering that every other shoe I’ve looked at has been over $500.  That’s more than my car note. However, if I didn’t have the 3 rug rats that I do, those blood red patent leather peep toe 3 ½ inch heel pumps would have my name all over them.  Oh well, it’s nice to dream.  I’m going to bed.  I’ll be in la la land dreaming of pumps.  And what I could do in those pumps.
