Reader’s Hunt
I recently had a Shoe Boxers reader (Dina) contact me and help her in the search for some long-lost shoes. The shoes in question were lost with some luggage on a flight and she has desperately been trying to find a replacement pair. Dina contacted me during her hunt for the brand and style and I went on a made dash to try to locate the exact pair she was longing for.
Dina wrote:
I had a beautiful pair of designer ankle coil sandals I cannot remember who they were by. if I send you a picture, would you help me locate them?
I was devastated when my luggage was lost by the airline and these were in there. They’re a few years old, but I wore them seldom and kept them in great condition
I had given her a few sites, mainly Touch Ups-
Cleopatra style and maker, but unfortunately, these were not the same as the ones in the photo, nor the ankle strap was very different. I have hunted and asked many of the shoe businesses I frequent in my search to find out who the maker is behind the shoe. I am hoping my readers that come to this site on a regular bases can help Dina out by finding these long, lost shoes for her.
