What’s New with Vans Footwear?

by Shelly

Vans® footwear is for more than just the skater-types. They have footwear that any age group and gender can use. And a guarantee you will like them. The newest ones are below.

Iron Maiden “Trooper” Classic Sk8-($65.00): Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris penned the classic song “The Trooper” in 1983 for the group’s Piece of Mind album. We’ve dedicated this Classic Sk8-Hi to that monumental song, with original artwork from the single’s cover featuring Eddie, the skeleton-like demon. Available as a Slip-on, too. Also check out our Iron Maiden “Killers” in Slip-on and Sk8-Hi styles for the complete collection.

Abby for Women ($45.00): The Abby is where skate meets pure style. This low-profile, slim-fit design is inspired by life at the pier, complete with nautical details including leather laced around the body, a screened canvas lining illustrating a ship and anchor pattern, and rope detail along the back heel. Plus, with a fully lined interior, pillow-soft sock liner, and our classic micro-waffle rubber sole, these casual kicks are like smooth sailing for your feet. Available in high-sheen satin.

Chukka Low ($50.00): The Chukka Low was designed by our skate team. The inspiration was based on shoes like the Authentic and the Chukka Boot, using Syndicate features and technology. Chima Ferguson, Van Wastell, Keegan Sauder, and Chris Pfanner have each contributed their own customized colorway this season. Every season we?ll mix it up with different riders to showcase the creativity and diversity of the team. The shoe is bound to be a classic and spotlights the timeless style of Vans.

Limited Edition Vans®

Join Vans® for the “Catch the Bus Tour“: The Vans BBQ crew will be slingin’ burgers and t-shirts from coast to coast the entire month of April. They will be stopping by selected retailers in their new bus to warm things up for the summer. There will be give-a-ways, food and fun, so come out and catch the bus. They say you can’t miss it.

About Shoe Boxers

Would you rather spend your last dollar on a killer pair of Jimmy Choo stilettos or save your cash and traipse around town in a pair of last years flip flops? If you chose the latter, this site is not for you. Shoeboxers is for the Shoe Diva. For the girl who stands out in a crowd – likely because her 4 inch heels have her towering over everyone else.
